The Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto (FACT) is pleased to release its October 2026 Newsletter, highlighting our recent achievements, community celebrations, upcoming business networking opportunities, and updated membership program.
As 2026 draws toward a close, FACT continues its commitment to bringing together culture, community, and business, fostering meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for collaboration across Canada and Asia.
A Message from Our President
In this issue, FACT President Benny Cheung reflects on the Association’s achievements throughout 2026, including the successful Annual Gala, continued expansion of business networking initiatives, and growing international connections.
These milestones reflect FACT’s ongoing mission to strengthen cultural understanding while supporting business development and professional collaboration.
Celebrating Asialicious Carnival 2026
Held from September 11–13, 2026, at Woodside Square in Scarborough, this year’s Asialicious Carnival brought together families, businesses, performers, and community members for three days of celebration.
Under the theme of Shanghai, the Carnival featured cultural performances, diverse Asian cuisine, family entertainment, Starry Night, and a spectacular fireworks presentation.
In their special newsletter message, Carnival Co-Chairs Ivan Wan and Thomas Yeung reflect on the event’s success and express their appreciation to the sponsors, partners, volunteers, vendors, and guests who made the celebration possible.
