On August 18, 2026, the Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto (FACT) successfully hosted its latest Business Networking event, Corporate Tax & CRA Audit Essentials for Entrepreneurs, at the MNP Markham Office.

The event welcomed more than 60 entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals for an informative and engaging evening focused on practical issues affecting Canadian businesses.

Practical Knowledge for Entrepreneurs

The MNP Tax team shared valuable insights on several important topics, including:

• Corporate tax planning for entrepreneurs
• Common tax opportunities and deductions
• Preparing for and responding to a CRA audit
• Risk reduction and regulatory compliance

The presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session. Participants raised many thoughtful questions and discussed real-world tax and compliance challenges faced by business owners.
