About the Gala
The Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto (FACT) proudly hosted the 2026 FACT Annual Gala on June 20, 2026, welcoming more than 300 guests from government, business, and community organizations for an inspiring evening celebrating the power of culture, collaboration, and opportunity.
Under the theme “Bridging Culture & Business,” this year’s Gala reflected FACT’s continued mission of connecting communities through cultural exchange while creating meaningful opportunities for business growth and international collaboration.
Since its founding in 2019, FACT has grown from organizing multicultural community initiatives into a platform that also supports entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders. During the Gala, President Benny Cheung shared FACT’s journey—from launching the Asialicious Carnival and Asialicious TO restaurant campaign to expanding into business networking and international trade missions that help Canadian businesses build global connections.
Guests also celebrated the success of FACT’s 2025 Asia Trade Mission, which connected Canadian entrepreneurs with partners across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and China’s Greater Bay Area, creating new opportunities for cross-border collaboration and international business development.
The Gala was more than an evening of celebration—it reflected FACT’s vision of bringing people together through culture, creating opportunities through business, and building a stronger, more connected community for the future.
